VAFA Live Coverage: September 14-15
It’s a blockbuster weekend of live VAFA Media coverage across Premier Men’s, Premier Women’s and U19 Premier, with plenty to enjoy Saturday and Sunday, with six live matches! See all
VAFA Media has branched out ahead of the 2016 season and added Periscope to the list of social media platforms used to bring the VAFA community real-time updates about our Association.
Joining Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Disqus as a form of social engagement between the VAFA and its followers, Periscope will allow fans to get closer to the action than ever before via a live video feed.
Prior to its January 15 product launch, Periscope was purchased by Twitter and can be embedded into a live Twitter feed. While fans follow the weekly VAFA HQ live tweet with play-by-play and colour commentary, they may now watch their favourite players line up for goal in real time through their smart phone.
Such has been Periscope’s rise to social media success and as a sign of its popularity, it was announced as the iPhone app of 2015.
VAFA Media understands the importance of live match coverage and endeavours to bring fans as close to the action as possible.
Follow VAFA HQ on all social media platforms and stay in touch with everything going on within our Association:
