
From formation to A-Grade: Old Geelong Women’s makes history
Old Geelong Football Club opened its 2025 season in historic fashion, with its women’s side marking their first year in the William Buck Premier competition with two wins straight out
Old Trinity midfield star and four-time VAFA section best and fairest, Brendan Iezzi, will join Ken Petrucco and John Kanis on 96.5 Inner FM Saturday morning as a special guest panellist on the VAFA Footy Show.
Having appeared on the show throughout last year, Iezzi will bring advanced insight from a current player’s perspective while he continues to recover from a season-ending knee injury he suffered in 2015.
Iezzi, Petrucco and Kanis will interview three guests throughout the first half of the show; including, 88.3 Southern FM VAFA Sunday host Tom Brain, Division 3 scribe Ren Thompson and Old Trinity senior coach Adam Andrews.

The VAFA Footy Show will act as a curtain raiser to the Inner Match of the Round between Old Trinity and De La Salle, which will commence at 1:45pm.
