The VAFA congratulates Lucy Murphy from Old Scotch Football Club who has been nominated as the Round 11 Anytime Fitness Women’s Rising Star. Lucy joined OSFC this season from Richmond
The VAFA plans to introduce a women’s competition in 2017 and this weekend our community will get a glance at what to expect in the coming years as compromised games will be played as curtain raisers to the seniors on Saturday afternoon.
A shortened game (15-minute halves) of women’s football will begin at 1:30pm at various grounds before the seniors at 2:15pm.
Good luck to all who are taking part and congratulations to the clubs who have helped build this initiative.
