VAFA introducing compromised women’s games this weekend

VAFA introducing compromised women’s games this weekend

The VAFA plans to introduce a women’s competition in 2017 and this weekend our community will get a glance at what to expect in the coming years as compromised games will be played as curtain raisers to the seniors on Saturday afternoon.

A shortened game (15-minute halves) of women’s football will begin at 1:30pm at various grounds before the seniors at 2:15pm.

Good luck to all who are taking part and congratulations to the clubs who have helped build this initiative.

This is the first step as the VAFA endeavours to be the first stand-alone women’s community competition in Melbourne. For more information read VAFA CEO, Michael Sholly’s, editorial HERE
