Glen Eira’s supreme season continued as they ran out 79-point victors against Aquinas at Packer Reserve. Michael Fletcher snagged one goal and was named BOG alongside a five-goal haul from Alex Erwin-Ross for the Saints. Phil Jurkovsky fought valiantly for the Bloods, who sit ninth spot on the ladder.
South Melbourne Districts proved too strong for Parkside, defeating the winless Red Devils by 30 points at Pitcher Park. Elliot Costello kicked three and Louis Beanland starred for the Swans, while Darren Gresham continued his hot form as the best for the losing side.
Hawthorn made it eight wins from eight rounds when they defeated Power House by 78 points at Ross Gregory Oval. Four each from David Tremewen and David Kennedy led the way for the ruthless Hawks’ outfit, while Jordan Haynes snagged three for Power House in his first match for the season.
