U19 Big V representative squad announced

U19 Big V representative squad announced

A 62-man squad has been released ahead of the U19 Big V representative match against AFL Victoria Country on July 10 at Preston City Oval.

St Bernard’s leads the pack of nominations with five of their young players making the squad, while Beaumaris boasts four. Eight clubs each have three representatives, including Caulfield Grammarians, De La Salle, Kew, Old Haileybury, Old Melburnians, Old Xaverians, Ormond and University Blacks.

25 representatives come from clubs in William Buck Premier, while 19 are from Premier B and 16 from Premier C. Carl Giovannini of Whitefriars is the sole Division 1 representative and Brad Barker of St John’s has Division 2 covered.
