Manningham Cobras kept in touch with the top four as they defeated Chadstone by 135 points at Jordan Reserve. Anthony Raso and Michael Muller combined for eight goals for the Cobras, while Brendan McHugh, Scott McPherson and Chris Jolly registered three each. Daniel Cumming stood tall for the Synners alongside David Fernandez. The Cobras sit fifth on the Division 4 ladder, while the Synners are yet to record a win in 2016.

Westbourne Grammarians shook off last week’s close call against Point Cook with a dominant 124-point victory against Box Hill North at Westbourne School Ground. Nick Schiano and Dale Collins bagged seven goals each for the Warriors, while Daniel Penny top scored with four of the Demon’s 11 majors. 10 games into the season and the Warriors are running a percentage of 290.67, and the Demons sit seventh and only just above the Tigers.
Eley Park Sharks showcased their finals credentials with a hard-fought 24-point win against Point Cook at Whitehorse Reserve. Andrew Zaicos starred with six goals for the Sharks, while David Viola booted five.
