Sharks show no mercy, Rams hold off Cobras

Westbourne Grammarians were pushed until the final siren in their 17-point win against North Brunswick at Allard Park. Chris Hudson kicked four goals alongside Dale Collins’ three for the Warriors, while Patrick Notaro booted six for the Bulls.

Mt Lilydale held off a fast-finishing Manningham Cobras to run out eight-point winners at Koonung Reserve. Stephen Donald kciked five for the Rams and Nick Edwards nailed four for the Cobras.

Point Cook showcased a defensive masterclass and kept Box Hill North scoreless for the second half in their 153-point win at Saltwater Reserve. Jordan Lampi kicked eight goals and WIll Dawson six for the Dogs, while Adam Green kicked the one and only major for the Demons.

Eley Park Sharks showed no mercy in the match against Chadstone, routing the cellar-dwellers by 201 points at Whitehorse Reserve. 58 scoring to 12 told the story as David Viola (nine) and Trent Siglas (seven) went to work. Daniel Keating kicked three for the Synners in his first outing for the season.
