With finals fast approaching, every week in Premier B Women’s proves more and more important. Round 11 saw Old Brighton defend their spot at the top of the ladder, while
PEGS and St Mary’s Salesian will wear rainbow-coloured socks and boot laces in support of Pride Game when the two Division 1 powerhouses clash at PEGS Sporting Field this Saturday.
The day will involve a luncheon at 12pm, supporting the St Kilda Pride Game against the Sydney Swans, and promote diversity and inclusion in our game. The luncheon will include guest speakers from both clubs as well as Brock McLean, Jason Ball, Matt Finnis, Sam Gilbert, Jack Lonie and Lisa Laing. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to the GALFA (the Gay and Lesbian Foundation Australia).
