Sports Performance Tracking (SPT) has been named in the Hype Foundation – Sports Innovation and EMGI ‘Top 50 Most Innovative Companies in the world of sports 2017’.
Founded by former Old Scotch player, William Strange, SPT is a GPS-based technology company which designs and develops elite level tracking and monitoring for sub-elite and amateur players to help improve their athletic capabilities.
Making the announcement via LinkedIn, Strange says he is proud SPT has been welcomed onto the list during the early stages of the company’s “roller coaster of a journey”.
“This award, out of London and Israel, just proves that Australia holds power within Sports Technology and Sports Business and if you are willing to put in the effort and get smart people around you, you can achieve what you set out for,” he says.
SPT was also awarded Best Wearable Start-Up at the 2015 London Wearable Tech Show.
