The VAFA congratulates Ajax midfielder, Ashley Krakauer, who has been named the Round 7 Men’s Rising Star after his three goals and best-on-ground performance in the Jackas’ 28-point victory against Mazenod.
What the club said:
“Ash first started playing for AJAX seniors in 2017, although he had previously played an outstanding junior career and was named as AJAX Club Champion.
In 2016, Ash was a member of the Sandringham TAC Cup premiership team. He plays as a strong inside midfielder, providing great run and poise and consistently winning plenty of the ball.
Not afraid to kick a goal, Ash always manages to find space in the forward line. Ash is a popular player around the club with a very bright future ahead of him.”
