VAFA HQ Holiday Break Information

From all of us at the VAFA, we would like to wish our community a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a safe and a fantastic New Year!

The 125th year of the VAFA has seen many significant events and achievements, from our very first women’s match to an inaugural Premier section winner and everything in between.

2018 is set to be another exciting year full of passion, excitement and new milestones. In addition, please refer to the following important dates in the new year:

• VAFA Office closes: 22nd December, 2017 at 12.30 pm
• VAFA Office re-opens: 15th January, 2018
• Player registration re-opens: 1st February, 2018
• Annual VAFA Conference: 17th February 2018
• Season’s Launch event: 28th March 2018
• 2018 Opening round: 7th April 2018

Regarding the VAFA Conference in February, please note:

• The required attendees are new presidents, new secretaries, new treasurers and new coaches.
• The recommended attendees are all club secretaries, coaches, football operations managers, women’s football representatives, commercial managers and media managers.
• Further information regarding time, content and location will be distributed in the new year.

Last but not the least, we cannot thank you all enough for all your continued support and assistance throughout 2017 and we are looking forward to working with you again in 2018.
