Today marked a significant milestone in the Elsternwick Park Redevelopment with the official completion of the turf laying component of the project.
Steven White, Director Environment, Recreation and Infrastructure for Bayside City Council, led proceedings and alongside Member for Bentleigh, Nick Staikos, and Mayor of Bayside, Cr Laurence Evans, acknowledged all stakeholders and contributors.
Attendees included representatives from Bayside City Council, Sport and Recreation Infrastructure, VAFA Board and staff, the VAFA Umpiring Department, Old Melburnians, Old Brighton and Elsternwick FC, AFL Victoria, Elsternwick Cricket Club and Endeavour Turf.
