From formation to A-Grade: Old Geelong Women’s makes history
Old Geelong Football Club opened its 2025 season in historic fashion, with its women’s side marking their first year in the William Buck Premier competition with two wins straight out
William Buck Premier women’s fixture released
The William Buck Premier women’s fixture has been finalised and we are set for a huge first round of action.
Marcellin will kick-start their premiership defence with a mouth-watering match-up against Kew just two years after the Bears claimed the VWFL Division 1 flag. The Sheagles will be brimming with confidence following their grand final victory and have an increased talent pool to select from with the establishment of a reserves side.
After going down to the Sheagles by just seven points in last year’s decider, SKOB Saints will face Old Xaverians at TH King Oval. These two sides met just once in 2017, with the Saints getting up by 36 points on the back of three Georgie Lupson goals.
Caulfield Grammarians will host Old Trinity at Glenhuntly Oval, while Fitzroy-ACU will look to avenge their straight sets finals exit last year when they clash with Melbourne Uni.
