Eight teams to debut as Division 3 fixture released

A buzz of excitement surrounds Round 1 of Division 3 as eight teams make their VAFA Wilson Women’s debut.

Seven pre-existing VAFA clubs will field new women’s teams, while the MCC will enter our Association for the first time.

The Demons, whose home base is at Beaumaris Secondary College, will face the Preston Bullants in their Round 1 encounter at Ruthven Reserve.

Emmaus St Leo’s will host Westbourne Grammarians at Bennettswood Sports Ground, while South Melbourne Districts will enter a reserves team this year, debuting against Prahran Assumption.

Power House will travel to Croft Reserve for a match-up against Williamstown CYMS as the CY’s look to establish a home ground advantage as strong as their men’s team at the Fearon.
