From formation to A-Grade: Old Geelong Women’s makes history
Old Geelong Football Club opened its 2025 season in historic fashion, with its women’s side marking their first year in the William Buck Premier competition with two wins straight out
Synonymous with the “The VAFA Footy Show” on Saturday mornings, and the “VAFA Match of the Day” broadcasts, VAFA Life Member Ken Petrucco has been a dedicated supporter of our Association since his playing days at Parkside.
This weekend, Ken will hit a significant milestone as he commentates his 500th game on 96.5 Inner FM from the Daley Oval when Old Trinity & Collegians do battle from 2pm.
On behalf of all of us at VAFA HQ, and from the wider VAFA community, we extend a big thank you and congratulations to Ken on this magnificent achievement!
