The VAFA congratulates Old Brighton young gun, Anthony Zimmerman, who has been named the Round 7 Grill’d Rising Star after his best-on-ground performance in the Tonners’ 39-point victory over Old Melburnians on the weekend.
“Anthony first started playing For Old Brighton in 2016 as an Under 19 player. His strengths as a footballer include good leg speed, willingness to tackle and apply pressure at the contest.
Anthony is renowned for being highly energized and kicking barrels at training.
He is still eligible to play under 19’s and trains with that group prior to senior training on Thursdays.”
