U19 Big V squad announced

By VAFA Media · June 1, 2018
U19 Big V squad announced

70 talented young players have been named in the U19 Big V squad ahead of our clash with AFL Victoria Country at Mars Stadium, Ballarat on July 8.

Having lost the past four meetings with the Country, David Kinsella has taken the reins as coach as the Big V looks to improve upon the impressive four-point loss suffered at Frankston last year.

Old Brighton boasts the highest number of representatives with six, including Round 7 Grill’d Rising Star nominee Anthony Zimmerman, while Beaumaris, Caulfield Grammarians and St Kevin’s OB each have five.

12 players have been named Rising Star nominees over the past two years; including, Nick Baltas (CG), Liam Murphy (DLS), Nino Lazzaro (Fitz), Anthony Larkey (OT) and Daniel Mott (Brunswick FC).
