The VAFA extends its deepest condolences to the Hawthorn Amateur Football Club and the family and friends of Dan Lauletta who recently passed away.
Dan was champion of the Hawks, a premiership star and 2005 OJ Meehan Medallist for the Division 4 Best & Fairest.

“The Hawthorn Amateur Football Community is mourning the sad passing of one of its true legends in Dan Lauletta, who passed away peacefully last night surrounded by family and friends.
A fearless leader in every way, Dan was a Club champion, league champion, premiership superstar, teammate and friend. If there was a Best & Fairest award for ‘life’, he probably would have won that too.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dan’s parents Vinnie and Maria, brother Simon, partner Babs and their extended families.
Rest in peace now mate, hope you’re backing a winner up there.”
