“Growing up, football was a big part of family life for Peggy with her brothers and dad playing, coaching and umpiring. It wasn’t until AFLW that she realised there was a genuine pathway for women to playing the game at the highest level. Once she started, there was no stopping!
Peggy models her game on Emma Kearney as an inside midfielder with explosive power. Through Melbourne University’s connection with NMFC, Peggy has had the opportunity to train with Emma Kearney and endeavours to apply the same intensity and determination that she brings to every training session. Peggy is a strong bodied inside midfielder who has really good hands inside stoppages and attacks the contest strongly and fearlessly.
In her first year at the club, Peggy is known for her commitment to her football, her friendly caring nature and her work ethic.”
