Old Geelong will enter Premier B in 2019 after they edged past Williamstown CYMS by just one point in their preliminary final at Box Hill City Oval.
Trailing by six points at three quarter time, OGs kicked 2.8 to the CY’s 2.1 in the fourth, with Edward Keach and Joshua Hutley leading the charge. Tom Balcombe was the top goal scorer for the OGs with two.
Joel Hogarth and Jack Gray kicked two goals each of the CYs who have gone out in straight sets by a total of just four points after losing to the Roys by three last week.
Old Geelong will face off with Fitzroy in the decider next weekend.
