It’s been four days of celebration at TH King Oval after St Kevin’s OB favourite, Tom Jok, was selected by Essendon FC in last week’s AFL Rookie Draft.
Jok, who blitzed St Kilda FC’s time trial earlier in the month, was taken at pick eight by the Bombers just months after claiming back-to-back William Buck Premier flags with SKOB.
The hard-running and mercurial utility has formed an integral part of SKOB’s line-up since joining the club in 2017. Following his sensational representative display, Jok formed part of the 2017 Big V touring squad in Ireland, where he again excelled with the round ball.
The VAFA congratulates Tom on his outstanding achievement and wish him all the best with the Bombers.
