As we celebrate National Volunteer Week (18-24 May) the Victorian Amateur Football Association proudly recognises and thanks the incredible volunteers who are the heart and soul of our clubs and wider
The VAFA is set to hold its fourth annual media days this Thursday and Friday with club representatives taking to Elsternwick Park’s new facility for a range of photography, filming and interview activities.
The content created over the two days allows VAFA Media to promote its clubs and individual players throughout the 2019 season.
Several clubs have nominated their representatives for the two days; including, Kalem Post and Hannah Singleton (Collegians), Jack Holden and Sophie Straford (SKOB), Scott Dixon and Libby Graham (Old Geelong), Sean Calcedo (Preston Bullants), Jade Tancred (MUWFC), Penny Heath and Manny Dolan (St Mary’s Salesian), and Hannah Elliot (CYs) among many more.
Ireland Big V representative Tyrone Bean will represent his new club Old Carey alongside women’s skipper Meg Aitken.
The men’s media day will run Thursday while the women are Friday.
