Former Big V representative and five-time Mazenod premiership player, Dave Murray, has been appointed Head Coach of the Premier B – Division 4 representative team ahead of our clash with the Western Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL) in July.
Murray has vast experience in the coaching world and led both Mazenod and St Kevin’s OB to flags while at the helm. He has also worked with Carlton, Collingwood and Hawthorn as High-Performance Manager.
More recently, Murray was the Head Coach of the 2017 VAFA Ireland Tour and assistant to Stu Powell during the Big V’s record-breaking victories over AFL Vic Country (2017) and the Adelaide Footy League (2018) over the last two years.
The B-Div 4 side played against the WAAFL last year and ran out 16-point winners at Trevor Barker Oval. They will travel to Perth for the return clash on the July 6 bye weekend.
