The VAFA congratulates Fitzroy FC star, Sunny Brazier, who has been named the Round 7 Men’s Rising Star following his four-goal performance for the Roys on Saturday.
What the club said:
“Sunny first started playing at Fitzroy in 2018, however played one U19 game in 2017 under permit from Fitzroy Junior Football Club.
His game style is like Charlie Curnow’s. His strengths as a footballer include being mobile for his size, can play on ball or as a key marking target. Very good and knowing where the ball is dropping when it is in the air and below his knees when it is on the ground. Sunny is renowned for his thumping kicks.
Sunny is a very passionate Fitzroy person who is always willing to help out on match day when his Northern Knights duties don’t clash with a Fitzroy game. Sunny is a top age Northern Knights player who is also on Northern Blues VFL list.”
