The VAFA congratulates Madi Capsalis from Old Mentonians who has been named the Anytime Fitness Rising Star for Round 8.
What the club said:
“Madi played a few games of school football and three games last season, with 2019 being her first year of playing every week. Coming from a netball background, Madi very much enjoys the freedom and toughness footy offers.
She likes the way Ash Brazil plays with her agility and run with the ball, and her favourite AFL players are Stephen Milne, Jack Steven and Tim Kelly.
Madi is a fantastic inside mid that loves the contest, has a great set of hands overhead, and can run around or over most players in the comp. She is known for her relaxed attitude off the field and her competitiveness on field.”
