The VAFA congratulates Marcellin’s Amber Micallef on her nomination as the Round 13 Anytime Fitness Rising Star.
What the club said:
“Amber began her football journey at Beverly Hills Junior Football Club, going on to also play representative football for Oakleigh Chargers and Victoria Metro teams.
Amber has a real passion for the game supported at every step by her devoted family. Amber has come across to Marcellin this season to test herself at senior football level, quickly becoming a much-loved member of the playing group.
With exceptional foot skills, fierce attack on the footy and great decision making, Amber has developed into a damaging player across half back and midfield. She plays similar football to Daisy Pearce or Luke Hodge.
Above all, Amber is a great teammate on and off field. She works exceptionally hard at training and has been a wonderful addition to the Marcellin Football Club.”
