With the winner set to sit in fourth spot on the ladder and only three points separating them at quarter time, Collegians kicked four unanswered in the second and extended their lead to 39 midway through the third when Alexander Croft booted three of his four goals. OM’s made a charge late in the third on the back of elite clearance work from Gus Borthwick and Tom Paule but the Lions finished with four goals to three in the final term. Borthwick finished with a game-high 30 disposals and 10 clearances for OM’s, while Sam Parsons (26), Jim Bazzani (21) and Viv Michie (21) were the Lions’ main disposals winners.
