The five finalists for both the Men’s and Anytime Fitness Women’s Rising Star Awards were announced on last night’s 2019 VAFA Awards Show on RSN Carnival.
Oliver Stella (Old Trinity), Austin Hodge (Old Trinity), Hamish Dick (Old Brighton), Cooper Leon (Old Carey) and Sam Cameron (St Kevin’s OB) have been shortlisted for the men’s competition after standout seasons for their respective William Buck Premier clubs.
Tayla Nichols (SKOB Saints), Isabella Hayes (Old Trinity), Amelia James (Scotch Stars), Madi Capsalis (Old Mentonians) and Georgia Wilson (Old Xaverians) are the five still in the running to claim the Anytime Fitness Women’s Rising Star Award.
The Rising Star Awards will be announced at next Wednesday’s VAFA Awards Dinner at The Pullman East Melbourne.
