George Voyage – VAFA President
“The VAFA wishes to advise our community that Board Member and Football Growth and Integrity Sub-Committee Chair, Mr. Paul Newton, has stepped down and resigned with immediate effect from the VAFA Board and all connected roles as he is taking up a paid executive position with one of our William Buck Premier clubs (OXFC).
Paul’s decision was based solely on his professional life where his previous working contract had concluded and the opportunity to have employment within the VAFA community presented great appeal.
Paul has made a wonderful impact and contribution in his time on the Board and especially in his role as FG&I Chair.
We thank him sincerely for his efforts.
The VAFA Executive is currently working on Paul’s replacement and an announcement will be made in the near future.
Thank you for your understanding.”
