AFL launches Toyota AFL Club Help platform

By VAFA Media · March 10, 2020
AFL launches Toyota AFL Club Help platform

Community football club volunteers across Australia will have unprecedented access to a range of contemporary resources ahead of the 2020 football season, with the launch of the Toyota AFL Club Help platform.

The new online platform has been developed to support community football personnel and volunteers by providing best practice templates and resources for running a club successfully.

Online resources include strategies on club planning, volunteer management, financial management, club promotion and community football policies.

The new Toyota AFL Club Help platform will replace the previous AFL Community website in a new user-friendly format, making it easier for volunteers to find everything they need in once place.

AFL General Manager of Game Development Andrew Dillon said that the Toyota AFL Club Help platform would be a great asset for all community clubs.

“Volunteers are the heartbeat of grassroots football clubs across the country, so we’re delighted to launch the Toyota AFL Club Help platform which will help make their lives a little easier when running a community football club,” Mr Dillon said.

“Toyota has been a wonderful supporter of community football for a number of years through programs such as the Good For Footy Raffle and Good For Footy Grants, so we thank them for their continued support and backing of this new initiative.”

Toyota Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, Wayne Gabriel, said that Toyota was pleased that this support is available to club members, who work tirelessly to help keep community football clubs thriving.

“Toyota is passionate about supporting grassroots football clubs in communities across the country, which we do through our Good for Footy program,” Mr Gabriel said.

“The countless hours and tireless work that goes into running a football club each week is incredible, so we’re proud to be part of the new Toyota AFL Club Help platform which will help provide valuable resources to ensure even more Australians can continue to enjoy our sport for many years to come.”

The Toyota AFL Club Help program is available now via www.clubhelp.afl
