The VAFA is delighted to announce our new Holmesglen interns, Dónal Wilson and Aaron Gillard.
Dónal Wilson will join the VAFA in the role of Media & Communications Intern. Dónal is already familiar with the VAFA having worked with Old Carey on social media and communication strategies while completing his Bachelor of Sports Media at Holmesglen.
An avid sports fan, Dónal has bowled for Richmond Union Cricket Club since his junior days over a decade ago.
Given his experience writing feature articles for local sports clubs and his Adobe software expertise, we look forward to seeing what he can bring to VAFA Media this year.
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to Aaron Gillard who joins the VAFA Commercial team for his internship as a part of Holmesglen’s Bachelor of Sport Business degree. Like Dónal, Aaron is also familiar with the VAFA having previously completed some projects with Old Carey.
Aaron is passionate about sport, particularly cricket, where he plays seniors with his local club and coaches their junior teams.
During his time with the VAFA, Aaron will be working on marketing strategies for VAFA Advantage as well as the production of marketing collateral for potential sponsorship opportunities.
