The VAFA is proud to partner with Breast Cancer Network Australia for the PLAY4BCNA Round in 2021 in support of Australians affected by breast cancer.
The VAFA has registered a league fundraising event and we have set a collective fundraising target of $10,000 to help support the 20,000 Australians we know will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year alone.
This round will take place on May 8 (Round 5), across the Mother’s Day weekend.
Clubs are encouraged to get involved in a way that your club feels appropriate, whether that be on the field, with players in BCNA Pink football socks/laces or coupled with off-field activities like a raffle, Mother’s Day weekend function, luncheon or high tea or donation tins at the canteen and bar with the promotion of your online donation page to members and supporters via social media and club newsletter.
Please find below the attached flyer with all relevant sign up and event information.
If your club wishes to participate in the fundraiser, please sign up by no later than April 16 to ensure you receive all BCNA merchandise in time for the round.
