The VAFA congratulates Old Brighton’s Josh Le Grice who has been named the Round 5 Mecwacare Rising Star.
Le Grice was a standout for during the Tonners’ 12-point victory over Old Melburnians whereby they claimed top spot on the William Buck Premier Men’s ladder.
What the club said:
Josh first started playing for Old Brighton while in Year 11 and his strengths include his versatility, toughness, team player, pressure, and skills on both sides.
He is renowned for being an easy-going person who always supports his teammates and will do anything to win and he plays like Richmond premiership player, Liam Baker.
