The VAFA congratulates St Kevin’s OB ruckman, Angus Hart, who has been named the Week 14 Mecwacare Rising Star nominee following his impressive performance against Old Brighton on Saturday.
What the club said:
“Angus finished school at St Kevin’s OB in 2019 and first played for SKOB in 2021, playing a mixture of Seniors and Reserves.
He is mobile for a big man, contests strongly in the air and covers the ground with ease.
Angus is an extremely hard work, trains with the U19s before the Seniors and hasn’t missed a session with either all year!
He plays like the Western Bulldogs’ Tim English; he’s nicknamed Big Bird and only drinks cruisers when out with his mates.”
