Big V Weekend is here!
Representative football weekend is upon us, starting with Thursday’s Big V Gala Dinner, then Saturday’s two massive matches against PFL at VAFA HQ and finishing with Sunday’s matches at Bendigo.
Clubs are to be advised that the Under 19 Over-Age Player Policy introduced for season 2021 will again remain in place for season 2022.
As per the policy below, clubs will be permitted to select and play an unlimited number of Under 19 Over-Age players born between 1st January 2002 and 30th June 2002 inclusive in their Under 19 team(s) next season.
Clubs are also reminded that players who are aged 19 years or under as at the 1st day of July in each year (being 1st July 2002 for next season) are still eligible to play Under 19 football as per normal.
An Under 19 Football Age Eligibility Explainer document for season 2022 is also included for the benefit of clubs.
