The Victorian Amateur Football Association congratulates the following community leaders who have been recognised in the 2022 Australia Day Honours.

Tony Boyce (UHS-VU) – OAM

UHS-VU were represented through Tony Boyce, who received an Order of Australia Medal for his service to Australian rules football across the Victorian Amateur Football Association.
Old Geelong Life Member and long-term sponsor Francis Herd received an Order of Australia Medal for his service to the meat processing industry and the wider community, while past player Tony Walker was awarded an Order of Australia for significant service to the media as a journalist and to the community.
