The VAFA Club Committee & Leadership program continues in 2022 with Workshops 2 and 3 of this initial series. The program is supported and delivered by Steve Pallas, CEO of Sports Community.
Workshop 2 will be held online at 7pm on Monday 21st February and will cover how to “Unlock the power of Strategic Planning”.
Workshop 3 will be held online at 7pm on Monday 28th February and will discuss how “structure (committees) follow strategy”.
Anyone who sits on a committee within the VAFA association is able to attend these sessions, please feel free to also share this opportunity with anyone else within your club who is involved with VAFA teams. This series of workshops is a great tool for new committee members, committees about to create a strategic plan or committees looking to create efficiencies in their operational and strategic practice.
If you were unable to attend the first session of this 3 part series that covered “Volunteer Management – Why do clubs Find it so hard to get volunteers” you can access a recording of that session here.
All workshops are recorded and saved to the VAFA portal and saved in the “Club Development and Coaching tile” and the Sub-folder “Education Workshop series” and will be made available the day after they are recorded.
For more information about support for your club on Volunteer Management, Strategic Planning or Committee Structure please get in touch with VAFA Club Development Manager, Sean Walker.
