The VAFA congratulates AJAX club stalwart Peter Kagan on his induction into the Maccabi Victoria Hall of Fame.
The long-time Secretary of the Premier B club was one of ten inductees into the Hall of Fame at a Gala dinner recently.
Members are nominated for outstanding service, individual record, ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character & number of years of service.
As reported on the AJAX website, Peter now sits with some of the best Jewish sports people including athletes and administrators, ranging from Dr Jeffrey Jankie, Henry Jolson OAM QC (dec’d), Ben Sternfeld OAM (dec’d), Dr Gary Zimmerman, Jemima Montag and many other highly respected sports people from our community.
Peter is widely respected throughout the VAFA community and is a staple at the AJAX Football Club, as such he was awarded a VAFA Certificate of Merit in 2013.
The Victorian Amateur Football Association congratulates Peter on this significant achievement.
