
2025 Premier B Women’s Fixture
The Premier B Women’s fixture has been released for the 2025 season. New club Port Melbourne Chargers will host Old Melburnians in their historic first home game at JL Murphy
The VAFA is excited to announce that four-time AFL premiership winning coach Alastair Clarkson has been confirmed as the guest speaker for the 2022 VAFA William Buck Season Launch on March 30, where he’ll chat with MC Nat Edwards.
Celebrating the 130th year of the Victorian Amateur Football Association, this year’s Season Launch will have a different look and feel, with a cocktail function to be held at Evergreen at Crown Towers on the Wednesday evening.
Clarkson is considered one of the best AFL coaches of all time, having coached Hawthorn for 390 games, including four premierships in 2008 and 2013-2015, four-time All Australian coach, and two-time International Rules coach.
Before coaching, Alastair played 134 games, for Melbourne and North Melbourne, making his debut at just 19 in 1987.
Clarkson is now an ambassador for Tackle Your Feelings, who are the proud mental health partner of the VAFA. Tackle Your Feelings is based on the education delivered to the AFL industry, and is led by high profile player and coach ambassadors.
The VAFA has also secured Nat Edwards as MC for the evening. The gun AFL reporter and Old Camberwell premiership player will host the event for the fourth time. Edwards is well-known for her work with various media outlets including AFL Media, 3AW, Channel 7 and ESPN.
The 2022 VAFA William Buck Season Launch will also see seven Certificate of Merit winners recognised.
