The VAFA is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Pignataro to the position of VAFA Digital & Broadcast Manager.
Joe brings over 10 years of experience producing sports radio at 1116 SEN, Macquarie Sports Radio and RSN927 and will certainly add a great deal to the Commercial & Media team.
He has hosted the For the Love of the Game podcast since 2018 (its inaugural year) and has also been the host of the VAFA Match of the Day coverage on RSN Carnival since 2019.
Joe’s main roles will be across the VAFA For the Love of the Game podcast, VAFA Matchday broadcast, VAFA publications and associated requirements inside each of his areas of responsibility.
Joe joins Glen Towers (GM Commercial & Media) and Cameron Voss (Media Manager) as part of the new look VAFA Commercial & Media department. Joe began with us on Tuesday March 15 and will work part-time across the 2022 season.
Joe played over 100 games with St Bernard’s and was a VAFA 2010 Big V U18 representative.
Outside of his love for St Bernard’s, Joe is also a passionate Collingwood fan and loves producing, editing and hosting podcasts.
