The 2022 VAFA season kicks-off this weekend and the VAFA and its broadcast partners have you covered, with four games you can tune in to live.
The William Buck Premier Men’s opening round match between Old Scotch and University Blues is sure to kick the season off with a bang.
Scotch will go into the clash after getting a taste of Premier A in 2021 while University Blues come into the game under the guidance of new coach Guy Martyn.
The coverage begins on RSN Carnival from 12pm with a replay of the VAFA Podcast, For the Love of the Game before the live Saturday Warm-Up at 1pm with Joe Pignataro, Andrew Holmes and Liam Ellison.
Hear from Old Scotch coach Mark Gnatt at 1.15pm, while University Blues celebrity runner Justin Quill will join the pre-game at 1.45pm. Plus an in-depth chat with Donald McDonald at half-time of the game.
Joe Pignataro and Tristan Foenander will be calling all the action from 2pm.
To hear the coverage live and uninterrupted, tune into RSN Carnival 1 on your digital radio, or download the RSN927 app and select RSN Carnival 1.

Premier B Men’s is playing host to the third placed side of 2021 Old Haileybury up against the fourth placed side in De La Salle at Princes Park.
Old Haileybury will be buoyed by the off-season recruitment of Jack Lonie to the side, while Brian Waldron is excited by the youthful exuberance coming from De La. Regardless, we’re expecting both sides will be pushing their cases for top 4 spots in 2022
The coverage will begin at 1.50pm with the first bounce at 2.00pm with Mitch Dyer calling all the action.
You can stream the action live on the VAFA website and on the VAFA Facebook page.
Coverage of VAFA footy expands in 2022 with two additional Live Stream matches added to your weekly festival of footy.
At 3.30pm on Saturday in Premier C Men’s, Monash Blues will play host to Old Geelong, and on Sunday in William Buck Premier Women’s at 2pm – Melbourne University Women’s will welcome Old Xaverians down to the Uni Main.
Both of these games will be streamed live and accessible through the new MySportLive channel. You can also download the My Sport Live App via the Apple and Google Play mobile or TV stores. A free trial is available for new users to access these streams.
