De La Salle’s coach Dave Madigan has stepped down from his role taking up a position with the VIS, Nick Hyland will make his coaching debut for the club this weekend against Beaumaris.

Umpire dissent has been high on the agenda in the AFL, for us in the VAFA it’s all about using a “level of commonsense” according to Waldron. 

Speaking of umpires, much-adored goal umpire Kevin “Chillie” Segota brings up his 900th game this weekend, a career dating back to 1978. He is our headline guest this week. Tune in to find out which team scared the living daylights out of him back in the day!

VAFA football is spread right across this Anzac weekend with Albert Park hosting Box Hill North in Division 4 on Sunday out at Elsternwick Park, while Fitzroy and Williamstown will do battle on Anzac Day Monday, those 2 games plus plenty more is on the agenda!
