VAFA Round 3 Live Coverage

By VAFA Media · April 22, 2022
VAFA Round 3 Live Coverage

After the Easter weekend our clubs are back into the swing of things with a big round 3 of VAFA football on the cards right across the weekend!

MECWACARE MATCH OF THE DAY ON RSN CARNIVAL

We’ve been blessed on RSN Carnival across the opening 2 rounds of the VAFA season with grandstand finishes in Round 1 and Round 2.

Tomorrow afternoon the footy heads north, out to the snakepit as St Bernard’s do battle against Old Trinity in the clubs traditional Anzac weekend match. The Snowdogs have a terrific 6-1 record on this day from their last 7 encounters while much has been made about the youth of both of these sides, it’s sure to be one helluva contest.

The coverage begins on RSN Carnival from 12pm with a replay of the VAFA Podcast, For the Love of the Game with Brian Waldron before the live pre-game show “The Saturday Warm-Up” at 1pm with Joe Pignataro and Josh Heriot

Hear from St Bernard’s defensive line coach Aasta O’Connor who has joined the club over the off-season at 1.15pm, while Old Trinity have Jamie McNamara in the hot-seat in 2022, he’ll join the broadcast at 1.35pm.

Joe Pignataro, Josh Heriot and Ethan Mills will be calling all the action from 2pm.

To hear the coverage live and uninterrupted tune into RSN Carnival 1 on your digital radio, or download the RSN927 app and select RSN Carnival 1

VAFA MY SPORT LIVE – LIVE STREAM MATCH OF THE DAY

VAFA football breaks new ground this long weekend as football comes to Brunswick Street Oval on Anzac Day Monday.

In Premier B, Fitzroy will host Williamstown in a must-watch contest. The Roys have had a slow start to the season while Williamstown have had 2 weeks to stew over their loss to St Bedes.

The last time these sides met was a thriller back in the 2018 semi-final of Premier C, a long time between drinks.

Join Mitch Dyer, Josh Heriot and Eliza Wright for the call of all the action from 1.40pm with the pre-game ceremony to commence before the first bounce at 2.10.

You can stream the action live on the VAFA website and on the VAFA Facebook page.

VAFA FOOTY NEVER STOPS

To complement the already stacked weekend of VAFA football, you can get a morning fix of VAFA football over brunch as there’ll be 2 games streamed live through the My Sport Live website.

From 11.40am, the Caulfield women’s side will be looking to make it 3 wins from 3 starts in William Buck Premier Women’s when they host West Brunswick at Glenhuntly Oval. These 2 sides met in the elimination final in 2021 with the Fields getting home by 10 points, it’s sure to be a must-watch contest.

In Premier C, Preston Bullants will be looking to test themselves against the best as they face up to Monash. Coming off an opening round 1, their first in the clubs history in Premier C they’ve had 2 weeks to recuperate and get themselves primed for this big clash.

Both of these games will be streamed live and accessible through the MySportLive channel and App.
