“St Kevin’s are the kings of T H King”
Round 4 of the William Buck Premier season matched up modern day rivals St Kevin’s against Collegians. Both sides going into the match were sitting at 3-0 bringing about much discussion of the 2017/2018 Grand Final contests in the lead into the contest.
A tight contest saw Collegians edge ahead at 3-quarter time before St Kevin’s stormed home with six final quarter goals to take the victory.
Listen back to Joe Pignataro and Liam Ellison in the Saturday warm-up discussing some of the great rivalries in world-sport and in our own VAFA backyard, hear from St Kevin’s coach Anthony “Plugger” Lynch and club great Josh Gabelich. Both sides have new Presidents in 2022, Michael Cove at Collegians and Patrick Mount at St Kevins.
Jack Darmody received the round 4 rising star nomination after his 4-goal, best on ground display.
