The VAFA congratulates Paige Trajkovski from Kew who is the round 4 Anytime Fitness Rising Star nominee. Paige made her senior debut with the Bears as Kew accounted for West Brunswick by 25 points on the weekend.
What the club said:
Recently off her grand final win for the NAB League, Paige has continued her on-field football achievements receiving a Round 4 VAFA Rising Star nomination.
The poised and hard running forward caught the eye of many in her debut for the Kew Bears, walking away with plenty of the ball and a well-executed set shot goal. She has superb skills and a fierce attack on the ball.
Paige is hoping to continue refining her craft against the bigger bodies of Senior Women’s football in attempts to play at the highest level she possibly can. The Club hopes it can continue to be a pathway for up and coming aspiring female players.
