By VAFA Media · May 6, 2022
VAFA Round 5 Live Coverage

There’s plenty on the line in Round 5 with top of the table clashes coming at you left, right and centre. VAFA Media from 9am – 5pm has you covered this weekend so you’re sure to not miss a moment of the action!

MECWACARE MATCH OF THE DAY ON RSN CARNIVAL

In last weekend’s Saturday Warm-Up the discussion around rivalries set the cat amongst the pigeons, one of the nominations that came through was Old Brighton against Caulfield Grammarians.

We don’t have to wait much longer for those two nemesis’ to go toe-to-toe, the dislike between the sides is palpable.

Old Brighton will be smarting after going down to Old Scotch in round 4 while Caulfield Grammarians are on the board in 2022 beating Old Xaverians.

Join Joe Pignataro and Ethan Mills at 1pm for the Saturday warm-up, before Tommy Flanagan and injured Old Brighton ruckman Lochie Filipovic join the call team from the first bounce at 2pm.

To hear the coverage live and uninterrupted tune into RSN Carnival 1 on your digital radio, or download the RSN927 app and select RSN Carnival 1

VAFA-MY SPORT LIVE – LIVE STREAM OF THE DAY

We’re heading to Holmes Todd Oval as Elsternwick clash with Parkside in Division 3.

The Wickers have started the year in a blaze of glory and will be coming in hot and fresh after having the bye in Round 4, while Parkside got back on the winners list last weekend with a win over Hawthorn.

First against second sets us up for an early glimpse of September action, so head to the VAFA Facebook Page with Mitch Dyer and Josh Heriot for all the action.

It’s a top of the table clash not to be missed.

You can stream the action live right here on the VAFA website and on the VAFA Facebook page.

VAFA FOOTY DOESN’T STOP

VAFA footy starts over breakfast on Saturday morning in William Buck Premier Women’s Kew will be looking to make it three wins in a row as they host Old Xaverians from Victoria Park in Kew at 9.20am

Both sides are seated in the top 4 after the opening month of the year with no side giving an inch against their opposition.

In addition to what’s on offer this weekend, in Premier B Men’s Old Haileybury have started the season as one of the sides to beat. Another side who is in fine form to open 2022 is St Bede’s Mentone Tigers.

It’s a battle between 2nd and 3rd with plenty on the line, even this early in the season. All the action is available from 2pm tomorrow.

Both of these games will be streamed live and accessible through the My Sport Live channel and App.
