This weekend marks the first third of the season being run and done. With plenty on the line, it could be the making of the University Blues’ season as they head to Glen Huntly Oval to clash with Caulfield Grammarians.
In 2021 these sides went 1-1 in the head-to-head battle, with both clubs taking the points on the opposition home ground. A loss for Caulfield spells trouble as they would slip to a 1-5 start.
As part of Community Umpires Round, hear from VAFA umpires boss Stephen Privitera in the Saturday warm-up from 1pm with Joe Pignataro and fellow VAFA umpire Nick Duxson, before Tommy Flanagan joins the broadcast to call all the action.
