VAFA Media is expanding its coverage of women’s footy in the run to the 2022 finals series, launching a brand-new VAFA Women’s Podcast.
Melbourne University Women’s Lucy Watkin will host the weekly program, ably assisted by a selection of women involved with our VAFA clubs. Starting with Eliza Wright, Fitzroy FC and Premier B Men’s reporter, in the first episode.
The new Women’s Podcast is a light-hearted inclusive show that covers all sections of the VAFA Women’s competition, asking the on-field questions, in the chase for the Premiership, as well as the questions that everyone can get involved with and answer.
SKOB Saints captain, Sarah Cameron is our inaugural guest as the club participates in a historic Pride Game for the first time this weekend against Old Xaverians.
Listen to the debut episode here – you can also tune in via Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Our new Women’s Podcast needs a name, we’re asking our listeners to head to @VAFAWomens on Instagram to send through your nomination and be part of the next step in the VAFA’s history. You can also email the VAFA Media team directly at [email protected].
