Your favourite podcast is back for another week, VAFA’s For the Love of the Game

Leading into the double-bye weekend for William Buck Premier and Premier B, Joe Pignataro and Brian Waldron are back together to recap the weekend’s action and look ahead to what’s in store for the next couple of weeks as Premier C, Division 1-4 and the Women’s sections take centre stage.

Going into the bye, Collegians made it three wins in a row, travelling out to Brighton Beach Oval and coming away with the points. Old Haileybury has caused the upset of the season in Premier B, keeping University Blacks to just 4-goals on the way to a 46-point win, handing them their first loss of the season.

In Division 4 this weekend, Swinburne AFC will host their first ever Pride Round against Box Hill North. Coach, Nathaniel Symes is our headline guest to talk through the steps in getting this game up and running, the challenges a divisional club faces and the link back to Swinburne University.

A fresh edition of Ask Grumpy Brian rounds out this weeks edition, as we look ahead to the Mecwacare Masters Footy Festival this Sunday at Elsternwick Park.
