The VAFA congratulates Oscar White from Kew who has been nominated as the weekends Rising Star after his 1-goal, best on ground performance in Kew’s 46 point win over Whitefriars in Division 1 mens.
What the club said:
Oscar joined the Bears in 2022 and has had an immediate impact on our Men’s Senior side. He has good speed, a strong goal sense, and he works hard defensively.
Coach Ian Aitken described Oscar as very coachable, and hungry to learn. Oscar’s team-first mentality means he is well-respected by the group, and fits in well. At only 17 years of age, the Club is excited to watch Oscar develop as a person and footballer in the Brown and Gold.
